Transplanted from a mid-west farming community to California, David King has been the Gardenmaster for The Learning Garden at Venice High School since they broke ground in 2002. His articles and stories on gardening, always filled with humor and insight have appeared in magazines from Coast to Coast and he has been featured in film, television and radio sharing his witty observations on all things connected to gardening. His book, Growing Food in Southern California will be published very soon.
